Yet another month with double digit (in $Ks) growth. This continues to seem unsustainable. We still haven’t had a significant market pullback in a while. October has to be a down month. After all October’s the month when the Panic of 1907, The Crash of 1929, and Black Monday occurred. But I remain optimistic :). Anywho, the market jumped a nice 2%.

- Mr MORE’s 401k: The market and our contributions kept our net worth afloat and charging ahead this month
- Mr MORE’s Roth: Tesla tanked :(.
- Mrs MORE’s 401k: Market movement and contributions helped out this month too.
- Mrs MORE’s Rollover: Still chugging away in Vanguard’s VTSAX.
- Mrs MORE’s Roth: Slowly chugging. Mrs. MORE made a comment that her Roth performed better than mine this month.
- Joint Savings: We had a medical bill come up. Fortunately we had our emergency fund and used it! Despite the cost of those bills, we managed to save more than our $1,500 monthly savings goal.
- Home Value: Our home value increased slightly which is always welcome.
- Brokerage (options): Amazon and Apple both tanked significantly bringing me down $500. Fortunately I was able to adjust my positions and gain $100 back. The slow climb back to the top commences.
- Brokerage (let’er ride): slow grind continues. This was my first ever brokerage account (2005) that holds PG, MRK, and the newly acquired AAPL (2013).
- Lending Club: One of the loans in default switched to charge off after 120 days of no payments. bleah.
Liabilities +$1,047 change
- Mortgage: Slowly chipping away.
- Car Loan (Mrs): Slowly chipping away.
- Car Loan (Mr): Slowly chipping away.
- Student Loan: Also, slowly chipping.
Net Worth: I maintain my excitement but with more caution. This month we had a big expense but our contributions, monthly savings and market helped keep us in rockstar territory. We’re on track to end the year above $450,000. That has me pumped!
Also, #147 (of 420) on Rockstar Finance’s Net Worth Tracker. Shooting for top 10% (i.e., $1.25M) ?:^)
